The Association of American Railroads (AAR) reported U.S. rail traffic for the week ending May 9, 2020 For this week, total U.S. weekly rail traffic was 412,549 carloads and intermodal units, down 22.1% compared with the same week last year. Total carloads for the week ending May 9 were 185,144 carloads, down 28.4% compared with the same week in 2019, while U.S. weekly intermodal volume was 227,405 containers and trailers, down 16% ...
