GEODIS Unifies Brands, Expands in Europe
[ April 10, 2026 // Gary Burrows ]GEODIS said it is consolidating legacy brands in France and expanding specialized healthcare logistics capabilities in Switzerland, as it seeks to strengthen its European network.
The company said Sealogis, Sealogis Freight Forwarding and XP LOG will be rebranded under the GEODIS name by the end of the second quarter. The units, part of the group since 1995, operate across France, Belgium and key French ports including Le Havre and Marseille.
GEODIS said the move will improve visibility over its port logistics activities and enhance operational synergies. The combined operations represent more than 900 employees and include more than 150,000 square meters of warehouse space, handling over 160,000 TEUs annually.
The integration supports GEODIS’s goal of becoming a leading freight forwarder in France, with expanded port hub services covering freight forwarding, port logistics and distribution.
Separately, GEODIS said its Swiss operations have strengthened healthcare logistics capabilities after securing multiple certifications, including CEIV Pharma and GDP, in recent months. The certifications support temperature-controlled transport, regulatory compliance and traceability for pharmaceutical shipments.
The company also expanded its footprint in Switzerland with upgraded offices in Zurich and Basel and a new location in Geneva, aimed at improving customer coverage in sectors including healthcare, retail and project logistics.
GEODIS said the combined initiatives underscore its focus on higher-value, regulated segments and on building integrated logistics networks across Europe.
