Xeneta Appoints Jensen as Industry Advisor
[ February 19, 2026 // Gary Burrows ]Freight rate data provider Xeneta has appointed Bjorn Vang Jensen as executive industry advisor. Jensen brings more than 35 years of experience managing global supply chains across sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, retail, automotive and consumer durables, the company said.
In the advisory role, Jensen will support Xeneta’s efforts to help shippers, carriers and freight forwarders adapt procurement strategies amid persistent market volatility and geopolitical disruption. The company has been promoting greater use of index-linked contracts and freight futures as alternatives to traditional request-for-proposal processes.
Xeneta provides ocean and air freight rate benchmarking and analytics tools used by cargo owners and logistics providers to monitor market pricing and contract performance. The company has expanded its platform in recent years with advanced analytics and artificial intelligence-driven capabilities aimed at improving rate transparency and procurement decision-making.
Chief Product Officer Fabio Brocca said Jensen’s experience on the shipper side would help the company align product development with customer needs as supply chain teams navigate more complex trading conditions.
