United Cargo Makes Additional Schedule Changes in Asia

As reported on February 28, 2020: United Cargo is advising our customers that United is suspending some service to Tokyo Narita, Osaka, Singapore and Seoul. We are also extending the suspension of flights between our U.S. hubs and Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Hong Kong through April 30.

Additionally, we will stay in close contact with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health organizations as we continue to evaluate our schedule.

Here are the details of the suspensions:

  • LAX/IAH-NRT suspended March 8-April 24
  • ORD-NRT suspended March 8-March 27, then switches to ORD-HND on March 28
  • HND schedule is not affected (daily SFO-HND and, starting March 28, daily service to ORD, LAX, IAD and EWR)
  • EWR-NRT reduction from daily to 5 times weekly for March 28-April 24
  • HNL-NRT downgauged from a Boeing 777-200 to a 787-8 for April
  • SFO-KIX reduction from daily to 5 times weekly for March 28-April 24
  • SFO-SIN reduction from twice daily to once daily for March 8-April 24
  • SFO-ICN reduction from once daily in March and 12 times weekly in April to 3 times weekly for March 8-April 30
