Triple celebration as fashion retailing’s top industry awards honor 3 SEKO Logistics customers

SEKO Logistics has marked another strong year of growth for its fashion logistics business by sponsoring the ‘Best Innovation in Fashion Retail’ category in the prestigious Drapers Awards 2018 – and seeing three of its own customers honoured among the top performing and most innovative fashion brands.
This is the third consecutive year SEKO has supported the most highly-respected awards in fashion retailing, which were presented before an audience of over 800 of fashion’s finest at the iconic Roundhouse in London.
Claire Muir, Commercial Director – Fulfilment and Contract Logistics at SEKO Logistics, presented the ‘Best Innovation in Fashion Retail’ award to the shopper app, Fashion Concierge UK, which provides access to buyers, designers and boutique owners, and organises international shopping excursions to exclusive retail shops and designer’s showrooms. Fashion Concierge also helps clients select appropriate outfits for events and gives fashion advice on trend updates and a personal wardrobe review.
The Drapers Awards 2018 turned into a triple celebration for SEKO Logistics as three of the company’s clients were also recognised for their successes over the past year:
• Joules, the UK-based premium lifestyle brand, won the ‘Fashion Retail Business of the Year’ for companies with a turnover of between £101m and £500m as judges praised the retailer’s impressive growth and creative approach in a tough sector of the market;
• Knomo received the ‘Accessories Brand of the Year’ prize for its thoughtful, functional products and interesting collaborations, which make it stand out from the crowd;
• Marks & Spencer won the ‘Retail Consumer Award’.
Other fashion retailers receiving awards included John Lewis, Primark, Barbour, H&M, Jojo Maman Bebe, Gym King, Bluebella, Rixo, Quiz Clothing and Zalando.

SEKO Logistics has also won customer and industry recognition this year in two polls of 17,500 international logistics and supply chain decision-makers. It was voted a Top 10 3PL Excellence Award Winner for its technology, omni-channel logistics and white glove solutions in Inbound Logistics’ annual survey of global shippers and also won Logistics Managements’ Quest for Quality Award for its 3PL and value-added warehousing solutions.
