time:matters Expands US network.

[ May 20, 2016   //   ]

By directly integrating United Airlines into the time:matters Sameday network, customers will benefit from fast transport and handling times to and from the US.
For example, urgently required technical spare parts from southern Germany might be booked late into the night. The goods are picked up the following morning and brought directly to Frankfurt for customs clearance. They are then shipped on by air via Houston (US) for instance to the American border town of El Paso (US) in southern Texas. From there, the cargo is delivered directly to the production site. Frankfurt to El Paso in less than 24 hours. This makes this solution a cost-effective alternative to on-board couriers.
“Our goal is to provide our customers with a global Sameday network,” said Franz-Joseph Miller, managing director, time:matters GmbH. “By combining with United Airlines, time:matters is taking a major step towards this goal. Our industry customers in particular will now benefit from a standardised high-speed transport solution to and from the US, with standardised and stable prices for the entire transport solution.”
Dedicated shipment handling and customs clearance is carried out in time:matters’ own courier terminal in Frankfurt. This is a crucial benefit for customers with time-critical shipments.  Direct pick-up and delivery is also possible at the customer’s request. Active apron monitoring at the Frankfurt and Houston hubs with direct access to aircraft as well as an integrated tracking system guarantee the shortest transport times and the highest level of quality.
