Descartes on $220 Million Buying Spree

Descartes Systems Group has spent about US$220 million on two logistics technology acquisitions in eight days, adding freight brokerage transportation management and 3PL warehouse fulfillment capabilities to its Global Logistics Network. The company acquired California-based Extensiv for about US$120 million Sept. 1, following its US$100 million acquisition of Tai Software announced Aug. 24.
