BBC Bremen Christened at Port of Bremen

The BBC Bremen, the eighth vessel in BBC Chartering's planned series of 15 LakerMax-type multipurpose ships, was christened Jan. 27 at the Port of Bremen. Knut Voigt, head of BBC Chartering’s Bremen office, said the event highlighted the company’s long-standing ties to the city, where it was founded in 1997 and re-established operations in 2002.
