CMA CGM Group has agreed to acquire FedEx Supply Chain from FedEx Corp. for an enterprise value of US$1.4 billion in a transaction that will significantly expand the North American contract logistics operations of its CEVA Logistics subsidiary while establishing a long-term commercial relationship between the two companies.
The acquisition, announced July 1, is expected to close later this year, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
