Log-hub Rolls Out Plug-and-play TMS-linked Tool
[ May 11, 2026 // Gary Burrows ]Swiss supply chain software firm Log-hub AG has launched a plug-and-play analytics tool designed to connect directly to existing transport management systems, aiming to streamline route optimization and carbon emissions reporting without requiring system changes.
The company said the new model integrates shipment data from a shipper’s TMS into its analytics platform, delivering outputs through automated dashboards built on Microsoft Power BI. The system is positioned as a lightweight overlay rather than a replacement for core logistics software.
Log-hub claims users can achieve transport cost reductions of 8 percent to 12 percent and cut emissions by 20 percent or more, though such outcomes depend on network structure and execution. The platform focuses on identifying inefficient routing, reducing empty backhauls and enabling scenario modeling based on existing shipment flows.
A key feature is leg-level emissions tracking across transport modes, giving operators more granular visibility into carbon output tied to specific routes. That capability aligns with growing regulatory pressure for detailed emissions reporting, particularly in Europe.
The company said the tool requires minimal integration work, targeting organizations that want faster analysis without overhauling legacy systems. Outputs include route mapping, KPI dashboards and simulation scenarios intended to support near-term operational decisions.
As a reference case, aerospace manufacturer Safran Group used Log-hub’s analytics to redesign parts of its logistics network. According to the company, the project reduced inbound mileage from 16 million to 6.4 million kilometers and outbound mileage from 10 million to 4 million kilometers, contributing to a reported 31 percent reduction in CO₂ emissions.
