Holger Wilhelm to lead automotive growth for Imperial Logistics

Imperial Logistics has appointed Holger Wilhelm to the newly-created post of Executive Vice President – Automotive.

Wilhelm is based in Zurich, reporting to Imperial Logistics International CCO Sandro Knecht. He will be responsible for identifying and exploiting all opportunities to develop the company’s automotive presence both in its existing markets and new ones.

After studying Business Administration and Transport & Logistics, Wilhelm’s entire career has been spent in a variety of increasingly senior posts at logistics companies, working on automotive business in Germany, Poland, India and the USA. He joins Imperial Logistics from CEVA Logistics, where he was its USA-based Vice President Business Development Automotive – North America.

Wilhelm is the latest addition to the new sales structure, a key feature of which is sector-specific business development posts. Commenting on Wilhelm’s appointment, Sandro Knecht says: “Holger has a long and impressive track record working with many of the world’s leading automotive clients. This includes establishing and managing start-up operations, and working in diverse geographies and cultures.
