Golden Jubilee for Port of Rotterdam

The Port of Rotterdam celebrates its Golden Jubilee as Europe’s largest container port for 50 years! On 3 May 1966, the MS Fairland arrived in Rotterdam. It was the first time a container ship arrived in Rotterdam. Since then, Rotterdam has been the largest container port of Europe.
