A new tool has been put in place to provide customers with another method to communicate with GPA’s customer service team. One can access it anytime between 8a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m.

“The live chat feature has given our dedicated client relations professionals an opportunity to communicate quickly and clearly with our customers,” said Alma Rodriguez, General Manager, Client Relations Center.

To access the live chat feature:

  1. Go to gaports.com and click the “Live chat” button at the bottom right of the page.
  2. Once selected click “Start Conversation.”
  3. Fill out the four basic questions and a customer service agent will start chatting with you.

GPA has also launched a virtual sales tool that offers an in-depth look at the capabilities and specifications of Georgia’s deepwater terminals in Savannah and Brunswick, as well as the Appalachian Regional Port in Northwest Georgia.

Brochures cover topics such as containerized trade, Roll-on/Roll-off cargo, breakbulk cargo and intermodal services.

“At a time when it is difficult to visit customers in person, this new virtual sales tool provides valuable insight for cargo routing decisions,” said COO Cliff Pyron.

It also provides easy access to GPA’s Insta-Rate system and MTO Schedules to allow customers to submit a pricing request.

Contacts for GPA sales representatives are included in an easily navigable format as well as quick links to additional economic development tools.
