DHL Supply Chain Reshuffles Leadership

Contract logistics provider DHL Supply Chain on April 30 reported strategic changes in its global leadership team, with a partial restructuring of roles and the addition of new members to the division’s global board of management.
Patrick Kelleher has been promoted to CEO of DHL Supply Chain North America, from global chief development officer, He joined the group in 1992 and has been global chief development officer since 2018.
Under his leadership the North American business doubled in size; he was instrumental in developing product solutions that addressed current; and anticipated customer challenges ultimately cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
Kelleher will succeed Scott Sureddin, who will retire from the DHL Group on Dec. 31 after more than 20 years at the company.
Markus Voss will succeed Kelleher as chief development officer of DHL Supply Chain. Currently the division’s global chief information officer and chief operations officer, Voss has been instrumental in driving performance-focused standardization and implementation of new technologies, automation solutions, and robotics.
As chief development officer, he will lead the development of the business unit, and will oversee teams of service logistics, solutions design, and all strategic growth products. He will continue to be part of the global board of management.
Voss’s previous role will be split. Sally Miller, currently chief information officer for North America and global digital transformation officer, will assume the role of global CIO, effective July 1. Her expanded role will encompass her existing responsibilities as digital transformation officer. Miller, who joined the company in 2005, has held various senior management positions throughout her tenure and will be part of the division’s global board of management.
In addition, Mauricio Barros will be promoted from senior vice president of global operations for DHL Supply Chain to global COO, and will oversee the division’s global operations. Barros started with the group in Brazil in 2002 and has since held numerous management roles across Latin America including president of DHL Supply Chain in Brazil. He also will become part of the division’s Global Board of Management.
All moves are effective July 1, and all will report to Oscar de Bok, CEO of DHL Supply Chain.
