DHL Names Schneider to Lead Investor Relations

[ October 16, 2026   //   ]

DHL Group said Robert Schneider will become executive vice president of investor relations April 1, succeeding Martin Ziegenbalg, who plans to retire in May after 25 years with the company.

Schneider is currently senior vice president for institutional investors. He joined DHL Group in 2011 and has held his present role since 2015, maintaining the company’s relationships with institutional investors and analysts worldwide.

He will report to Chief Financial Officer Melanie Kreis.

Ziegenbalg has led DHL’s investor relations function since joining the company in 2002. DHL said he played a central role in shaping its investor engagement and positioning in international capital markets.

The transition schedule provides approximately one month for the leadership handover.

DHL Group employs about 584,000 people across more than 220 countries and territories. The Bonn-based logistics company generated revenue of about 82.9 billion euros in 2025.
