CMA CGM WAX Service Improves Korea Coverage

CMA CGM informs its customers of a change of rotation on its WAX service operated with 13 vessels up to 4,350 TEU on the Asia-West and South Africa trade.

As from m/v BERMUDA, starting her rotation in Pusan on April 11th, 2016, Pusan port call will be transferred from WAX 3 onto WAX service.

This move will allow CMA CGM to be the unique carrier on the market offering a broaden range of direct services from Korea to Benin, Cameroon and Namibia in addition to the current service to Nigeria and South Africa.

The Gabonese ports of Libreville and Port Gentil will be served from Korea via the hub of Cotonou with 1 transhipment instead of 2.

WAX port coverage is the following:
Pusan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Chiwan – Nansha – Tanjung Pelepas – Port Kelang – Cape Town – Walvis Bay – Cotonou (relay to Gabon ports) – Tincan/Lagos – Apapa – Douala – Abidjan – Pointe Noire – Colombo – Port Kelang – Pusan
