Awery Adds AI Data Query to Air Cargo Platform

Awery Aviation Software has launched a beta tool allowing air cargo companies to query operational data stored in its enterprise resource planning platform directly through AI applications including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor.

The Ask Awery functionality uses Model Context Protocol, or MCP, to connect AI applications with data held in Awery’s ERP system. Users can make natural-language requests for information and reports rather than manually extracting and processing data.

Examples include requesting tonnage by customer and trade lane for a particular month or analyzing charter quote conversion rates by customer over a specified period.

“Reporting tasks that previously required bringing together disparate data and could take hours can now be completed in seconds,” said Vitaly Smilianets, founder and CEO of Awery.

Access is read-only and governed by existing Awery user permissions, limiting users to information they are already authorized to view.

Awery said it plans to extend the technology to AI agents capable of automatically compiling recurring reports and performing routine data checks on daily, weekly or monthly schedules.

Ask Awery is available in beta to Awery customers on request.
