Qatar Expands US, Europe Freighters Network

[ October 23, 2026   //   ]

Qatar Airways Cargo is expanding its Boeing 777 freighter network with new or restored services involving New York, Dallas/Fort Worth, Copenhagen and Warsaw.

The carrier will begin weekly New York freighter service Nov. 1 on a Doha-Liège-New York-Atlanta-Liège-Doha rotation. Combined with 14 weekly passenger flights, the freighter will increase Qatar’s cargo capacity at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to more than 226 tonnes in each direction per week.

Qatar Airways Cargo also recently introduced two weekly Boeing 777 freighters serving Dallas/Fort Worth on a Doha-Liège-Dallas-Doha routing.

The Dallas operation provides 200 tonnes of weekly main-deck capacity inbound and 100 tonnes outbound. Including 14 weekly passenger flights, Qatar will offer more than 250 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity into Dallas and more than 150 tonnes outbound.

In Europe, the carrier will introduce weekly Boeing 777 freighter service from Copenhagen beginning Oct. 25. The Doha-Budapest-Copenhagen-Doha rotation will provide 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity for Denmark and southern Sweden.

The freighter supplements 10 weekly Boeing 787 passenger services offering more than 100 tonnes of belly capacity in each direction.

Qatar will restore Warsaw freighter service Oct. 26 with a weekly Doha-Warsaw-Chicago-Brussels-Doha rotation. The service will give Polish exporters direct main-deck access to the U.S. market.

Together with twice-weekly freighters serving Katowice and 10 weekly widebody passenger flights at Warsaw, the airline said its Polish capacity will exceed 435 tonnes in each direction per week.

Qatar expects the expanded services to carry pharmaceuticals, aerospace and technology products, energy equipment, perishables, vehicles, oversized cargo and other time-sensitive shipments. The carrier operates 30 Boeing 777 freighters and serves more than 160 destinations through its freighter and passenger networks.
