DHL Global Forwarding Adds Inland Fuel Charge
[ March 25, 2026 // Gary Burrows ]DHL Global Forwarding said it will implement a new international airfreight inland fuel surcharge in response to rising trucking fuel costs.
The surcharge is set at 5 cents per kilogram, with a minimum charge of US$10, and applies to first- and last-mile trucking movements within the U.S. supporting international air cargo shipments.
The company said the adjustment reflects recent increases in fuel surcharges charged by its trucking partners and will be applied under designated invoice codes for affected services.
