Aerios, CargoAi Integrate Rate, Capacity Data

[ March 5, 2026   //   ]

Aerios has launched a new Commercial Pricing Insights module that integrates live aggregated rate and capacity data from CargoAi, giving air cargo charter carriers real-time market visibility during the quotation process.

The London-based software developer said the module embeds CargoAi’s commercial market data directly into its Carrier App quote builder, allowing users to compare proposed charter rates against current and forecast airfreight market trends without leaving the quoting workflow.

Charter carriers traditionally have had limited access to live commercial data when preparing quotes, often relying on informal market intelligence or static data. Within larger airline groups, charter sales teams frequently operate separately from general airfreight divisions and may lack access to up-to-date information on prevailing rates, active trade lanes or service frequency. As a result, quotes are sometimes generated without clear market benchmarks, increasing the risk of mispricing, lost tenders and reduced margins.

Aerios said the new module is designed to address those gaps by surfacing real-time airfreight rate data at the point of quotation. After constructing a route, users can view aggregated current market rates alongside historical performance and forecast trends. The tool also highlights whether a particular lane is actively served by scheduled airfreight operators and how frequently.

Through the integration, users gain access to anonymized current and forward-looking rate data, providing broader market insight without disclosing individual airlines’ or competitors’ pricing strategies.

Matt Petot, CargoAi founder and CEO, said expanding access to live aggregated data marks a shift for an industry that has long relied on backward-looking information.

“Getting real-time visibility on the next few weeks in terms of rate trends and capacity change is a game changer for the industry, which has been relying for a very long time only on past data with a significant delay,” Petot said.

Aerios said combining live rate intelligence with capacity trend data within the charter workflow allows carriers to position quotes more competitively and make pricing decisions with greater confidence, while optimizing revenue performance.

The company, a member of CargoTech, positions its platform as a unified digital workflow for charter professionals, brokers and carriers. It combines communications and operational management tools with artificial intelligence-driven data analytics to support market intelligence and decision-making.

Aerios said carriers and brokers interested in the Commercial Pricing Insights module can register for a product demonstration at http://www.aerios.app/book-a-demo.
