Hanseatic Global Terminals Launches Latam HQ
[ August 7, 2025 // Gary Burrows ]Hanseatic Global Terminals said it has launched Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America, the brand’s first-ever regional expansion and a significant step in the company’s mission to strengthen its global terminal network and enhance service offerings worldwide.
With this launch, the Hapag-Lloyd subsidiary, founded in 2024, has located its regional headquarters is in Santiago, Chile, which will serve as the operational hub for both North and South America.
The creation of Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America S.A. also includes incorporates two new business units under its Inland Services division: Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Logistics S.A., and Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Extraportuarios S.A.
The Inland Services units, along with the port subsidiaries, provide comprehensive port and logistics services to foreign trade players throughout the region.
“It marks a significant step in the realization of our Strategy 2030 and our aspiration to serve our customers as a global terminal operator,” said Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals.
Hanseatic Global Terminals said its Strategy 2030 calls for expanding from 21 to about 30 terminals globally and evolving into a global industry player.
