1GSA – the recently-launched independent GSA network – has appointed Transviet Promotion Limited as its exclusive member for Vietnam.

Transviet Promotion was launched in 1996, and is Vietnam’s leading GSA organization, active in both cargo and passenger operations. It has five bases in Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Da Nang, and 55 of its 350 staff are employed in cargo, representing 9 major carriers. It provides the Vietnamese air cargo market with access to destinations throughout Asia, USA, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The company provides a full portfolio of GSSA services to airlines, covering sales and marketing, reservations, revenue accounting, load planning, ULD build-up and breakdown, and handling- and ramp supervision. It also supervises import operations, and assists airlines with landing rights applications.

Says Transviet Promotion Director Le Viet Cuong: “We are delighted to join the growing 1GSA family. Membership will enable us to raise our profile internationally, and benefit from being part of a developing network of companies which share our values of professionalism, effectiveness and independence. We look forward to making our contribution to the oganisation’s future success.”

Adds 1GSA President David Lee: “IGSA is very fortunate in securing such a strong and professional member for this important young market. Transviet Promotion adds substantially to our airline proposition, and we look forward to working together to exploit exciting mutual opportunities.”
